This Building Is Covered With Shelves Of Plants And It's A Plant Parent's Dream

Ever wonder what it might be like to live in a garden? For many people, it might seem like it would be filled with wasps, bees, ants, worms, and dirt. But, for the plant-obsessed, it might be a dream.

Well, for all you extreme plant lovers, your dream home awaits you in a small town in the Netherlands, and it's jam-packed with giant pots of plants.

Check out this wild (literally) building complex! I bet you've never seen anything like it.

This four-story eco-friendly apartment/office building hybrid called the Green Villa is set to be located in the Dutch village Sint-Michielsgestel.

Designed by the company MVRDV, the building's whole exterior will be completely covered in potted plants of all shapes and sizes, keeping the planet in mind.

The exterior is essentially made to be like a "rack" of shelves that house bushes, trees, and various plants like jasmine, pine, and birch.

The architects believe that urban areas should be part of the natural landscape of towns.

From an aerial view, you can totally see how the building literally morphs into nature.

It barely looks like a building! It looks more like a little forest.

Underneath all of that greenery are five apartments spread across three floors, an office space, and even underground parking.

The type of plant that is featured in each unit is carefully chosen with the space in mind, whether it be for privacy, shade, or a nice view.

And you don't have to worry about watering these plants! The building's got it covered with a controlled irrigation system built into the planters.

You can't move in now — construction is only starting next year. However, it gives you time to think about how you can move to the Netherlands!
