I'm the first one to admit I'm not the best DIYer. I pretty much lack the time to really get into it. But I definitely admire those who devote their entire lives to making things from scratch or upcycling stuff.
However, sometimes even the best intentions can result in a poorly conceptualized idea. I think I have found a few of them for you to check out. Take a look and have a laugh.
Honestly, I can't get by without a nightlight. I just don't like bumping into furniture when I get up in the middle of the night. But I would never resort to making something as disturbing as this one.

Speaking of people who like to butcher their cars, let's look at this BMW. Shall we? I don't know what they were going for here, but I don't like it one bit. It's such a waste. Don't you think?
If you, too, are obsessed with McDonald's, you may appreciate all the work that went into making this matching set here. I have to be honest when I say, "I'm not loving it," hee-hee. This isn't my idea of sexy, that's for sure.
I recall I have shown you guys some unorthodox ways to use zip ties. However, when I gave you those examples, I never thought somebody would take it to this extreme. I don't think this will hold up for too long. Do you?
Oh my goodness. What is up here? Is this a steering wheel somebody uses every day? Are they joking or what? I wouldn't want to be in their position when the airbag pops out. Ouch!

Somebody actually made a rug out of upcycled old garden hoses and zip ties. My only question is, why? I don't see how that's comfortable to walk on or to put any furniture on. So I'm pretty baffled.
Why? Well, let's just say that just because it seems like a good idea in your head doesn't mean it will come out looking alright. To the folks here that tried and failed, I say — better luck next time.
