Yes, well, we all knew this was coming eventually. There was no way they were going to keep one of Spider-Man's greatest villains out of the Spider-Man universe.

A Venom And Spider-Man Crossover Is Actually Happening
I know it's old news that we got Spidey back into the MCU, but it's hard not to celebrate.

I mean, it would've been hard seeing Spidey go from the darker side to the slightly less dark side.
But, we don't have to worry about that anymore, now do we?
But one question does remain...

When is he going to fight Venom?
We know that Venom is a Sony property, and that Marvel is probably going to do another MCU Spider-Man movie, so... maybe in the next one?
I can tell you this, though: it's going to happen.

Ruben Fleischer, the director of Venom, said this about the crossover:
"That’s where it’s all going to lead. And that’s the exciting thing, because we changed the origin of Venom … in the comics, he evolved from Spider-Man but because of the Marvel-Sony thing we weren’t able to that."
So we're all pretty excited.
