Meghan McCain Shut Down A Body Shamer Who Told Her Try Weight Watchers

The View co-host Meghan McCain was quick to shut down a body shamer earlier this week.

Meghan has been bullied about her weight in the past.

While her late-father U.S. Senator John McCain battled brain cancer, she fired back at a Twitter troll who said she “gained a lot of weight.”

“You know — every morning I wake up happy my body is healthy and strong,” she replied at the time. “I don’t define my worth by weight or what internet trolls think," she replied.

This time, the trolling came after Meghan's "The View" co-host Abby Huntsman posted this pic of the two ladies in pink for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

"How many pounds ago was that profile picture?" a woman asked Meghan in a since-deleted tweet.

"Jenny Craig, NutriSystem or Weight Watchers (WW) would endorse you without hesitation."

Meghan was quick to clap back at the nasty comment, reminding the user how harmful those words can be.

"I never dieted to get a man or a job and somehow landed my dream both- hope young girls see me and know they don't have to diet either."

The support for "The View" host has been overwhelming.

"Although I do not always agree with @MeghanMcCain, she is absolutely right. There is absolutely no reason to be spreading hate through comments about someone's appearance. Let's keep that in mind while having civil political discussions as well," wrote one Twitter user.

"Meghan I may differ with you on policy, but you are a strong woman and I respect you for that. I don’t know why people have to be so damn mean to one another. Keep your chin up, you outclass her by a mile!," wrote another.
