Nick Carter Asks Fans For Prayers Ahead Of His Rainbow Baby's Due Date

Rainbow babies are the babies born after a couple experiences a miscarriage or stillborn birth, which means that these babies have a special meaning for their parents.

Since the parents have already experienced the devastation of a loss, it's understandable that they need extra support in the weeks leading up a rainbow baby's due date.

Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter and his wife, Lauren, married in 2014.

Five years later and the couple is more in love than ever.

And in 2016, they welcomed their first child together, a son named Odin.

Nick and Lauren love sharing updates and pictures of him on social media, and Nick even said, "I don't mind changing diapers and feeding him at all," when he shared this adorable Instagram post.

Even though Nick is still touring with the Backstreet Boys, Lauren and Odin often accompany him.

It's clear that this family prioritizes time spent together.

In March 2019, Lauren revealed that she had suffered a devastating miscarriage.

She shared an ultrasound photo of her baby girl on what would have been her due date. In the caption, she wrote, "If you are struggling to start a family or have had a loss this post is for you, you’re not alone and there is always hope."

Lauren decided to speak out about the miscarriage to show other moms who have gone through one that they aren't alone.

"If you are struggling to start a family or have had a loss this post is for you, you’re not alone and there is always hope," she said.

Online, people praised Lauren for opening up about the miscarriage.

With just three weeks to go until their rainbow baby's due date, Nick turned to Instagram to ask fans to keep them in their prayers.

"God please give me and my wife @laurenkittcarter the strength to endure the next 3 weeks leading up to the birth of our new baby. We’ve waited so long for you little one. All your prayers for peace please," he wrote in the caption alongside an ultrasound photo of the baby.
