The Brutally Honest Bedtime Story 'Go The F*ck To Sleep' Now Has A Sequel

No one told me that the hardest part about parenting would be bribing your kids to go to bed. I mean, I love sleeping. If I could stay in bed all day, I definitely would.

For whatever reason, kids don't feel the same way, much to the frustration of their tired parents. Now, a hilarious new book perfectly sums up this phenomenon with a few choice words.

If there's one thing that all parents can agree on, it's that putting your kids to bed is the absolute worst.

Every time I put my son to bed, I swear I age like three years. Just go to sleep already!

Kids know just how to manipulate you before bed.

They'll pull every trick in the book: asking for a drink of water, asking for another story, saying they need to pee. It never ends!

Since its release in 2011, "Go The F*ck To Sleep" has been a huge hit with parents.

And let's be clear: These books are definitely for parents, and would probably be rated R, if there was a rating system for books.

Author Adam Mansbach perfectly captured this feeling with his hit book "Go the F*ck to Sleep".

It's definitely not your traditional bedtime story, but it's sure to give parents a laugh. You can even get an audio version narrated by Samuel L. Jackson.

I'm pretty sure the kids conspire with each other to keep their parents awake.

And here's even more good news.

Larry David will be narrating the audiobook of F*ck, Now There Are Two Of You. I am pretty, pretty, pretty happy about this news.

And if you need more potty-mouth parenting books, Adam Mansbach also wrote "You Have To F*cking Eat".

Anyone else have a kid who's on a never-ending hunger strike except when it comes to goldfish crackers?

So, to summarize, kids don't like to sleep or eat.

I'm saying this to all you non-parents out there who might be unaware. Anyone with kids is fully living this reality.

If you're a tired parent who could use a laugh (because what else can you do, except, maybe cry?) add these to your shopping cart.

F*ck, Now There Are Two Of You will be available on October 1, but you can get the other two books in the series on sites like Amazon or specialty book stores.

The popular book even spawned a sequel called "F*ck, Now There Are Two Of You".

According to the book's description it, "articulates all the fears and frustrations attendant to the simple, math-defying fact that two is a million more kids than one."

Tired parents everywhere know that this is so true.

I know it's no "Goodnight Moon", but I don't think I've ever had a book speak to me so much as a parent.

Exhausted parents everywhere probably won't be catching up on their sleep anytime soon, but at least they can get a laugh or two as they try to wrangle their kids into bed once again.
