The Stars Aren't Far To Reach With These DIY Galaxy Jack-O'-Lanterns

Halloween used to be so simple. People would dress as witches, ghosts, and pumpkins, kids would use pillowcases and jack-o'-lantern-shaped bins to collect candy, and we would carve triangle eyes, noses, and a giant smile with a couple teeth into a pumpkin.

Those days are long gone, but we're not really upset about it.

Galaxy pumpkins are the next jack-o'-lantern idea you'll want to create.

Honestly, it seems a bit easier to execute than trying to saw fancy shaped into the front of a pumpkin.

All you need is some black, white, and fun colored paint of choice, foam paint brushes, a toothbrush, a drill, Christmas lights, and a pumpkin, of course.

The instructions on the blog Dream A Little Bigger suggest using a black plastic pumpkin, but I bet it would still work swimmingly with a real pumpkin.

After you've painted your pumpkin, you carefully drill holes of the constellation of your choosing into the pumpkin.

Then you just insert a wad of Christmas lights into the pumpkin, and voila!

It's the prettiest pumpkin I ever did see.

And it's perfect for the whole family to do!

It truly brings some magic to your front porch.
