Cameron Boyce's Parents Give Heartbreaking Interview About The Night Their Son Died

On July 7th, fans of Disney actor Cameron Boyce were devastated to learn that the young actor, known for his roles on Jessie and The Descendants, had passed away at just 20 years old.

A statement from the family confirmed the news.

"The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him. We are utterly heartbroken and ask for privacy during this immensely difficult time as we grieve the loss of our precious son and brother," read the statement.

Their interview with Good Morning America has shed some light on the night of Cameron's passing.

"The night he passed away, we were out to dinner with him just hours before," Victor, Cameron's father, said. "It was a completely normal, beautiful family night out to dinner."

"There was no indication that anything was wrong," Victor said.

"I mean there was no way to know in hours my son would be dead. Like, it was just staggeringly crazy and horrible. And we were texting that night," he continued.

Cameron's parents wanted to bring attention to the charity work they have been doing in Cameron's name.

They have started The Cameron Boyce Foundation which pledges to raise money for the causes Cameron was passionate about, like ending gun violence and spreading anti-bullying messages.
