Dairy Queen Is Bringing Back Pumpkin Pie Blizzards And It's About Time

As someone who is a self-identified fall enthusiast, I can safely say I'm ready to put away my shorts and tee-shirts and finally reunite with my precious leggings and wool sweaters. But I know not everyone is with me on that.

Most people aren't quite so eager to give up on summer just yet, but I think I know what might make you fall feel a little bit better about the fast-approaching fall months. Three words, you guys:

Pumpkin pie blizzards.

No, you're not dreaming, because Dairy Queen is definitely bringing back this beautiful fall-inspired sweet treat.

According to Best Products, the ice cream innovators have decided that the people need all the help they can get adjusting to the impending change in season. So, rather than wait til September or October to reintroduce pumpkin pie blizzards into our lives, they're giving them to us in August.

August, people. This is NOT a drill.

Each dreamy concoction is made up of DQ's signature soft-serve ice cream, blended with real pumpkin pie pieces.

After it's all mixed up, the treat gets topped with some whipped cream and nutmeg, making it the perfect fall snack that you can enjoy before the weather turns a little too cold for ice cream.

(But who are we kidding, we'll eat DQ blizzards any day of the year.)

August 26 is when you can expect your local DQ to start offering these delicious treats once again.

It might be hard for some of you to accept, but 'tis the season to eat pumpkin-flavored everything, so grab a spoon and bid farewell to summer because fall is on its way.
