Simon Cowell's history when it comes to his fashion sense and overall look can be a confusing one. All the pieces individually are always good, but when they come together, the results can be a bit strange.
For example, we all love a bright white smile, right? Well, when Simon showed his off, people were a bit taken aback.
And so white. I don't even want to think about how many white strips he had to use to achieve that look on his chompers.
So it could just be that his overall appearance has changed pretty dramatically, and we're all just focusing on the teeth as one small part of the whole.
Speaking to The Sun earlier this year, he said, "I changed my diet and I’ve not looked back since. You feel better, you look better."
“I cut out a lot of the stuff I shouldn’t have been eating and that was primarily meat, dairy, wheat, sugar — those were the four main things.”

Which, honestly, isn't the furthest comparison I've ever seen. Maybe it's the fact that his smile isn't quite reaching his eyes that makes it look so off.
Honestly, old Simon Cowell is kind of handsome? Maybe this is a real long con game he's trying to pull here. Forget middle age, he's going RIGHT to hot grandpa.
Others still bypassed the robot route and went for the "wax figure" route, which would honestly explain the denture-like teeth.
All they need to do is paint the teeth on the statue white and they honestly might be onto something.
We all know a little something about that — we've seen that Friends episode where Ross accidentally whitens his teeth a bit too much.
Don't worry, Simon! As long as you stay away from blacklights, you'll be fine.
