Tommy Lee Faces Backlash After Posting Scathing Anti-Trump Rant

Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee has never been known for holding his tongue, and he's definitely not starting now when it comes to his dissatisfaction with the President of the United States. Lee shared a fiery letter on his social media on Thursday night, sparking an intense round of backlash and support from both sides.

Tommy Lee has been vocal before about his distaste for Donald Trump.

He's shared many posts, videos, and memes mocking the President on his various social media pages in the past, and has not shied away from vocally criticizing his actions.

On Thursday night, Lee made a splash when he shared this extremely fiery letter to "Trumpsters."

"You Trumpsters better pray that liberals never gain control of the WH again because we are going to pay you back so [expletive] hard for all of this [expletive]," the profanity-laden letter began.

"Planned Parenthoods on every damn corner."

"We're going to repaint Air Force One, [expletive] hat pink and fly it over your beloved Bible Belt 6 days a week, tossing birth control pills, condoms, and atheist literature from the cockpit."

The letter appeared to comment on the recent mass shootings and the call for gun control.

"We're going to gather up ALL of your guns, melt them down and turn them into a gargantuan metal mountain emblazoned with the face of Hillary Clinton," the letter read.

"And every single time a Trumpster complains about any of the changes, we're adding an openly gay character to a Disney movie."

Immediately after posting the letter, Lee received a ton of responses from people both for and against the President.

"If you don't like it here, leave."

Another twitter user replied, "My first concert was Motley Crue in 1989. So sad to see what a vulgar sick man Tommy Lee still is. Drugs, alcohol and surrounded by people that don’t care about him has clearly left him a damaged individual. Hope he gets the help he needs."

Others pointed out some problems with Tommy Lee's statements.

Some fans pointed out that the drummer was "out of touch" with the average American's struggles, and others pointed out that Lee had just shared an image on his Instagram story of his own firearm, calling him a hypocrite.

Lee doesn't seem too bothered about the backlash.

He also tweeted, "The next person who tells me to stick to drumming and stay out of politics, I’m gonna come to ur house and shove my drumsticks up ur [expletive] until you sneeze."
