Man's Night Time Camera Catches His Cat 'Suffocating' Him During The Night

Those who can be around cats without their eyes drying out won't take long to notice how odd their behavior can be.

Although many seem like they couldn't care less about us, they can prove that wrong in some strange ways at really inopportune times.

Cats are just generally pretty weird.

For instance, it's not always the most welcome sight in the world when a cat comes up to you with a dead animal in its mouth and drops it in front of you, but it's doing that because it thinks you can't hunt to feed yourself.

One nighttime behavior, however, is a little harder to figure out, but cat owners agree that it's definitely a thing.

One thing that's very clear about Lomphonten Lomphontan of Thailand is that he's a big fan of his cat, Achi.

But like a lot of people who would love to just stay home with their pets, Lomphontan has a job to do.

So he decided to set up a hidden camera at his house for those times when he has to be away from Achi.

As he told The Dodo, this normally came in handy while he was at work, but the camera keeps rolling at all times.

So when it was running overnight, Lomphontan got a chance to see what Achi was up to when he wasn't looking.

Achi is apparently an affectionate cat in general, so it was sweet, yet not entirely surprising, to see him step up beside his owner.

What Lomphontan didn't know, however, was how far Achi goes when he's not awake to respond.

As the man learned, Achi seems to enjoy crawling all over Lomphontan before finally making himself comfortable on his face.

Although Lomphontan wasn't aware that this was going on, he did have one big clue that suddenly makes a lot more sense.

As The Dodo reported, he had been having dreams where he was suffocating and it seems Achi was behind them all along.

Though it may not have murderous intent, this would be a hard situation for the cat to talk itself out of.

When you feed and house and love an animal, you would hope that it isn't trying to kill you while you sleep.

While some cat owners might not be too pleased about this behavior, Lomphontan is taking it in stride.

When he watched the footage and realized what was going on, he found it very funny.

But more than that, he liked what it seemed to suggest about Achi's feelings for him.

As he sees it, Achi just wants to be as close to him as possible, even if he's expressing that in a way that isn't terribly comfortable.

"I feel very much in love with him that he loves me like this."

We all express our love in different ways I guess, some just more murderous than others!
