Cameron Boyce's Mother Breaks Her Silence With Emotional Message After Her Son's Death
Cameron passed away in his sleep on July 6th.

In a statement made on behalf of the family, it was confirmed that Cameron had passed away on July 6th in his sleep due to a seizure as a result of an ongoing medical condition.
The Boyce family released a statement shortly after his passing.

"It is with a profoundly heavy heart that we report that this morning we lost Cameron," a spokesperson for the family told CNN. "He passed away in his sleep due to a seizure which was a result of an ongoing medical condition for which he was being treated."
The following day, Cameron's father shared an emotional tweet.
He tweeted that he was extremely grateful for the love and support the family was receiving in this time of tragedy.
Cameron's sister also shared a touching tribute on her Instagram.

She began, "Yes, he died. Yes, I'm sad. Cameron was my best friend. He is someone I will always idolize. His smile could light up a room, unlike anyone else's. He was perfect."
At the end of her post, she shared a message of hope.

"What I'm holding onto, and what I encourage you to hold onto as well, is the memory of his endless optimism. He was sunlight wearing shoes. I can confidently say, he wants us to celebrate, grow, and persevere."
Cameron's mother, Libby, has broken her silence on her own Instagram, sharing this touching photo of herself and her son.

Her caption was simple, but incredibly emotional. It read, "He is my compass."
Now, Cameron's family has launched The Cameron Boyce Foundation in his memory.

The foundation, according to the website, "provides young people artistic and creative outlets as alternatives to violence and negativity and uses resources and philanthropy for positive change in the world."
Cameron's dad has posted that they've received thousands of donations already.
