Guy Fieri Says He's Going To Feed Area 51 Raiders 'Radioactive Ribs'

Lately, it's been hard to browse the internet without noticing a flood of memes and comments referencing Area 51. Specifically, they're centered around plans to take it over and come back with an alien friend or lover in tow.

Although the campaign it's referencing isn't a serious effort by an actual organization to undermine the U.S. Air force facility, there's always the possibility that enough people will take it seriously to cause a legitimate security issue.

However, one person who definitely seems to have tapped into the intended spirit of the fad is celebrity chef and restaurateur Guy Fieri.

For those who might be a little confused as to how all of this started, here's some background.

Facebook | Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All Of Us

Earlier this month, a Facebook event appeared with a provocative title: "Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All Of Us."

The event description, which rallied for anyone interested to join the fight and "see them aliens" quickly picked up speed and now has about 1.2 million signatories who counted themselves as "interested" while another 1.6 million claimed that they'll actually attend when September 20 hits.

At the very least, it seems that those 1.6 million who I'm sure are totally serious about going won't go hungry.

Never one to pass up a bizarre meme, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives host Guy Fieri has apparently been inspired by the event to craft some new recipes.

The flagship of which, it seems will be these magically delicious and 100% Photoshop-free radioactive ribs.

Indeed, the mayor of Flavortown's contribution will likely come as welcome surprise to hungry raiders.

After all, one cannot live on Monster energy drink alone, especially when embarking on such a dangerous mission.

If you want to look at me like I've just grown a second head right now, I'll provide some additional explanation.

As Facebook user Jackson Barnes outlined, the proposed battle plan to storm Area 51 hinges on putting several battalions of "Kyles" on the front lines.

To ensure these Kyles commit to the plan in the most berserk way possible, organizers are planning to give them plenty of Monster to drink and then tell them that their stepdads are inside Area 51 and the walls are made of drywall.

These Kyles will be supported by people throwing pebbles to distract and annoy Area 51 one guards, thus preventing them from concentrating fire on the Kyles.

Two additional units of "Naruto runners" as demonstrated here will then be expected to run after than any incoming bullets and then triple their numbers using ninja magic to create shadow clones.

From there, they'll be in an optimal position to overtake Area 51.

Obviously, nobody who drafted this "plan" is expecting it to work or even to actually take place.

As Barnes said in his post, "Hello US government, this is a joke, and I do not actually intend to go ahead with this plan. I just thought it would be funny and get me some thumbsy uppies on the internet."

The event in general is also widely understood to be a joke and the likelihood of anyone actually showing up is fairly dubious.

Still, the Air Force is seriously warning anyone with even half a mind to try this that it will end badly for them.

As spokesperson Laura McAndrews told ABC News, "As a matter of practice, we do not discuss specific security measures, but any attempt to illegally access military installations or military training areas is dangerous."

Aerospace historian Peter Merlin told NBC News that the Nevada desert should be harsh enough to repel any raiders, however.

As he said, "The security guards could just sit back and wait. They don't have to do anything if they don't want to. The desert will take care of these people."

Nontheless, those who claimed to be going to Area 51 seemed to appreciate Fieri's support for their cause.
