KFC Is Bottling Their Supercharger Sauce But It Won't Be Available For Long

To be honest, I've never been a big fan of mayonnaise. Some of my friends will defend that goop to the end, but the texture and taste of it just do not appeal to me.

That said, the best way to make me tolerate something is to add a little spice to it and I will admit that the kind of kick you get from KFC's supercharger sauce did more to mend fences between me and mayo than I would've expected.

Although I still wouldn't say I'm wild about it enough to buy a bottle of the stuff, there are obviously many people who disagree with me.

Normally, if you want a taste of KFC's spicy sauce, you've only got two options.

You can either go for one of the sandwiches that feature it or choose one of their spicier wraps.

However, it seems that's about to change starting July 15.

As one of their Twitter accounts announced, the company has manufactured 3.8 gallon bottles of the stuff and they're planning to sell it at restaurant locations.

So it seems that those who want to slather it all over everything now have that option.

And as Metro reported, those who do are apparently pretty vocal as KFC has received a barrage of tweets asking for for this special sauce.

There are a couple of things to be aware of before anyone goes sauce-crazy, however.

For one, it'll only be available for about four weeks and it's set to cost the equivalent of five bucks per bottle.

You'll notice I said "the equivalent," which brings us to the final piece of bad news.

As far as we can tell, it seems that this promotion is only available in the U.K. and Ireland for now. That said, if a Twitter campaign could convince the company to do this at all, maybe another one can convince them to bring it stateside.
