'The Masked Singer' Season 2 Premieres September 25

The Masked Singer was a show that people didn't really expect to come across as one of the most popular shows, but it did!

Thankfully, the show returns on September 25th!

Let's take a stroll down season one memory lane now, shall we?

FOX

The show is hosted by Nick Cannon, and his panel of judges includes Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke.

Fan favorites included T-Pain, Donny Osmond, and Gladys Knight.

My personal favorite was the Poodle who ended up being Margret Cho!

'The Masked Singer' boss Craig Plestis had this to say about season two:

FOX

"When we went bizarre and went a little crazy, it worked, and we know that's the secret ingredient that we're going do for season two," he said.

"So if you think this season was bizarre, just wait until you see season two."

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?!

Plestis also wants to keep the same formula.

FOX

"What worked is really going for it with the costumes — go crazy with it, don't play it safe. Have fun making it and letting everyone be involved with the party" he explained.

As far as maintaining tight security, Pletsis said they will have to go above and beyond their tactics from last year.

FOX

Due to the shows increasing popularity, it's going to be much harder to keep contestants identities a secret this year.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, "Contestants in season one were picked up from a separate location, covered from head to toe at all times — gloves and visors included — and weren't allowed to speak with anyone."

"Security is going to be a lot more stringent in season two," Pletsis explained.

"For season one, we were not under the radar for a lot of people, and we still had a lot of security. So we're really going to have to be on top of our game for season two."
