He's always been loved, but lately, the Internet had taken their love for him up a few notches.
2019 is really shaping up to be the year of Keanu. Jeff Goldblum's time in the spotlight is over, and there's a new successor to the throne.
The man can do no wrong.
Every story we hear about Keanu is a good one, and he hasn't made a misstep in his career in a long time.
It looks like 2019 won't be the year he changes that either — he has tons of work coming up soon that everyone is excited about.
So let's take a look at 2019 so far...
Keanu Reeves has been all over Hollywood lately because he's had a ton of projects coming out.

Keanu is playing a new character called Duke Caboom.

Fans freaked out when Keanu Reeves was the character revealed in Cyberpunk 2077.
Suddenly I'm interested in video games.
And now on the 'Toy Story 4' red carpet, he was told that he was the internet's boyfriend.

And Reeves' response was so heartwarming.
“I’ve been what? I didn’t know that… That’s wacky. The positivity is great. It’s really special how [Always Be My Maybe and John Wick 3] have been embraced.” he said.
The Internet adores Keanu.
We really just eat up anything about him. In fact, there was a recent interview floating around that really drove everyone even crazier about Keanu Reeves.
The interview alleged that Keanu was lonely.
Keanu was apparently asked what love meant to him, and his response was heartbreaking.
"You mean romantic love? You know, I’m the lonely guy. I don’t have anyone in my life,” he supposedly said. “But if it does occur, I would respect and love the other person; hopefully it’ll happen for me."
The Internet had some solutions.

People were really quick to offer themselves up as companions for Keanu to not feel so lonely with.
Other people were wondering about other famous people he should connect or reconnect with, like Sandra Bullock.
But alas! Not to worry!
Keanu's publicist spoke out claiming that the interview was fake!
Reeves’ publicist told The Huffington Post that the actor did not give the interview.
Keanu never said he was "the lonely guy!"
“This interview did not happen,” the spokeswoman said. “This was pieced together from several interviews, and the majority of these questions were not asked nor answered. They are fabricated.”
What will he do next?
Will he save someone from a burning building? Probably.
