The New 'Hobbs And Shaw' Movie Had A Scene So Violent — It Had To Be Removed

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw has Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham against Idris Elba.

So you can imagine the number of beat downs that would be in this movie.

But it turns out, the Motion Picture Association of America's approval wasn't having it.

'Hobbs & Shaw' is the next 'Fast and the Furious' movie that we'll be getting.

Though they will not feature any of our other beloved characters, it's still part of the franchise.

It stars Dwayne Johnson as Luke Hobbs.

He has appeared in a number of Fast & Furious films as both the antagonist and helper to our family.

And it has Jason Statham as Shaw.

An original antagonist who has turned his leaf is helping Hobbs take down the villain: Idris Elba.

Obviously, in a movie like this, there is bound to be tons of fight scenes.

Anything with The Rock is going to have some major throw downs.

But in a movie like this, it's easy for the violence to get out of hand.

So as to not make the movie end up being rated R, they had to make some changes.

Originally, the scene had Hobbs actually biting out his opponent's eye.

Yikes.

The ratings board thought it was too violent.

So now Hobbs will slam the bad guy into the ground before going to town on him.

The film hits theater on August 2.
