13+ People Who Are Obviously Doing Serious Work

No matter how exciting your job is, you're still gonna be bored sometimes.

Mr. Jameson may be riding you about those pictures of Spider-Man, but even he has to wait when Windows 10 picks the exact moment when they're ready to update itself.

Naturally, that boredom gives us the perfect opportunity to mess around. In these moments, you can discover parts of your workplace you were too busy to notice before and find something magical to do with them.

The next time that happens, I hope you'll be as productive as these folks.

1. Delicate crafting and proper acoustics are great and all, but I bet guitar makers still get curious about what random objects sound like.

And the best part is that no matter how crappy a six-string boot sounds, there's a band gimmicky enough to want it somewhere.

2. Whoever was marketing this guy did him dirty. Not because of the lovely poster, but they didn't even leave his number!

The opportunity was right there to say, "If you need to talk about it, here's my number" and they didn't do it!

Hire me, strange man!

3. If I've learned anything from this picture, it's not to leave anything near somebody who owns a deep fryer.

Clearly, it has a way of taking over the imagination with crispy obsession! I just hope they quit while they're ahead and don't try to eat this.

4. You know, it's pretty hard to stay on track when the laws of physics keep rewarding us for misbehaving like this.

At that point, is it our fault for stacking an entire sandwich platter on the kid's head, or is it gravity's for not stopping us?

Be responsible, gravity!

5. If I made bootleg products, I'd do this kind of thing on purpose just because we all need more Spider-Ham in our lives.

They didn't forget the hyphen, so they obviously knew what they were doing. People expect mistakes in bootlegs anyway, so go nuts!

6. Unless this guy is legitimately super serious about his costume party, he's definitely gonna violate his office dress code here.

And no, he's not a time traveler because then he'd be attacking the photographer for practicing witchcraft with their strange, magic picture rectangle.

Like, duh.

7. I may not know what this person's game is, but weirdly, this feels less sketchy than some actual ATMs.

They can't take my card information when it's just them and a pile of cash. And if they take the card, where are they gonna run to?

8. I feel like this is exactly the kind of thing we were doing whenever Mom sent us that text asking if we're studying hard.

Reddit | A_Faceless_Baby

The only hope would be to pass this off as some strange anatomy lesson and hope she's not wearing her glasses.

9. Whoever was in charge of this clearly has to work some kinks out. And frankly, they don't have much of an excuse.

Reddit | wialox

I'm guessing the owner got so fed up with clueless people asking where the Bitcoin section is that they started taxing it.

11. I'll admit that I'm not sure what these guys are supposed to be doing, but I'd be very surprised if this stack was part of it.

Reddit | vicmantiri

I'm just gauging this on how bored and miserable the guy on his computer looks. He's probably on task, right?

12. I've sat at the wrong desk at work even without matching backgrounds, so I imagine whoever sits here is just doomed to that fate.

Reddit | Muhd_Huzaifah

And if I know anything about people with matching tributes to a very polite cat, it's that they'll dread that productivity loss.

13. Since Ronald here is on the wrong side of the road, I don't think they're in an official Mario Kart race.

Reddit | albertclee

While we're at it, I have the sneaking suspicion that this isn't the real Ronald McDonald. Tsk, tsk, tsk, reckless driving and identity theft.

14. This has to be the only driver in the world who actually enjoys getting pulled over.

Reddit | offMotivationalTv

I'm just picturing their cocky grin as they ask whether the officer's just gonna let them off with a warning.

"Huh? Yeah, sure, whatever. But how fast does this go?"

15. It's not the most colorful melon sculpture on display, but it obviously has the most personal significance to the artist.

It may look like he did this as a goof, but he's just observing Shrek's sacred ritual. It's the laugh of love and life.

16. I'm not sure how this pig ended up here, but it just taught us that nothing makes a better pillow.

This discerning, professional sleeper obviously had options, and he seems pretty comfortable with his choice.

OK, fine, I want to believe that "professional sleeper" is a thing.
