Stop Saying "Treat Yo Self" To Retta Because She’s Over It

If you haven't watched Parks and Recreation then you really have been missing out on a great television show.

Retta, who plays Donna Meagle, was one of the stars of the show.

'Parks and Rec' was about the parks department.

Obviously.

Leslie Knope was the star of the show, and her can-do attitude won our hearts over.

But even the secondary characters were fantastic.

NBC

Including Miss Meagle herself!

She had a very specific catchphrase that anyone who knows the show should know by heart.

"TREAT YO SELF."

Every year Tom and Donna would have a day where they treated themselves.

They basically bought anything they wanted.

They even made Ben join them one day!

NBC

That's one of the best episodes.

He ended up buying a Batman suit, in pure Ben fashion.

But Retta is getting tired of people invading her personal space.

NBC

Which is completely fair.

People running up to her and repeating the phrase over and over again is getting annoying.

She really wants people to tone it down.

NBC

"You know, you go to dinner, and at the end of the night the waiter says, 'I just wanna say, "Treat yo' self!"' I don't mind that," Retta said. "

When will people learn not to invade personal space?

NBC

"It's just when someone comes out of nowhere and is in my face and you're like, 'Hi, I'm a human being. Could you not put your breath in my eye?'

Good for her for finally saying something!

NBC

"It's really those people that just pop out of nowhere, and then I'm like, 'Yeah, I'm trying to pee.'" she finished.

Good for her!
