Fashion can be an incredible way to make a statement, although most people generally don't take that so literally. Singer Joy Villa has made a habit out of wearing literal statement pieces on the red carpet, and she did it again at the Daytime Emmys this year.

At the Grammys this year, Joy turned a few heads by wearing this black and white dress designed to look like it was made of bricks. In bright red letters, the back reads "BUILD THE WALL".
Her extremely vocal support for Donald Trump has caused some backlash for her in the past.

Her accessorizing her dress with a red "Make America Great Again" purse and barbed wire-esque shoulder plating earned her some harsh criticism online.

As we've seen before, subtlety is not a major component in Joy's fashion decisions. Controversy is key, and she always manages to stir one up.
Joy says she wore the dress to "carry the message of life and empower women."
She tweeted her support for pro-life organization Save the Storks, whose logo is the stork design printed on her dress.
