Guy Makes Guide To Help Men Avoid Heartbreak Based Solely On Nail Style

I'll admit to not quite understanding the appeal of crazy or fancy nails. Part of it is that I was blessed with good natural nails and so have avoided messing with fake ones, but mostly I'm just too lazy and cheap to get a regular manicure.

I do love looking at incredible nails, though. It's an art all its own.

Admittedly, I've never put much thought into what a given manicure style could say about a woman.

I mean, on a superficial level you can probably assume a woman with inch-long nails isn't the type to play volleyball after work.

But one guy realized that you can tell a lot just by checking out a woman's nails.

Not just whether she's got a manicure at all or if the polish is chipped, but right down to the shades, length, and shapes.

Marwan "Rocky" Alteir is a 26-year-old who just wants to help guys avoid heartbreak.

So he did some "research" and turned it into a 6-page booklet he calls "Nails At First Sight."

He told BuzzFeed News:

I created this research to protect my bros around the world. They need to know what they’re getting into.

Ok, admittedly, I went into this kind of wanting to dislike him.

I mean, here's a guy trying to figure out how dateable a woman is based on her choice of nails.

But his "Survival Guide 101" is funny enough to make it work.

He begins with colors, noting that nudes and pinks are "safe" options.

His research involved asking 30 men (20 friends and 10 strangers) images of nails and asking them what kind of woman would have them.

If more than one guy said the same thing about a particular nail, it would go on the book.

He has particularly strong warnings about yellow nails.

If she has the courage to have yellow nails, she has the courage to chop off your balls.

He recommends health insurance when dating any woman with nails a color that is part of a rainbow.

He also warns about nails shaped to a point.

Personally, I've always been afraid of getting pointed nails. I just imagine having an itch on my nose and nearly stabbing my eye out.

It just seems really impractical.

But the best part is how he adds Dungeons and Dragons-style stats to nail length.

Those long nails might have low dexterity, but they're the type of weapon that doesn't require a lot of finesse!

Be sure to check out the video of the booklet with his explanation below!
