Chris Evans Helping Regina King To The Stage Is Making Us Believe In Chivalry Again

Regina King just won an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in If Beale Street Could Talk, cue emotions and tears for years.

Regina is a King by name, but also a queen by action and attitude. Can ya TELL I'm slightly obsessed with her, or nah?

But before Regina King could go up on stage to accept her award (and look like a prize while doing so, btw) she had to actually GET to the stage.

Which when you're in heels and snatched into a couture gown, can be a hard thing to do!

Enter Chris Evans, dressed in a velvet suit serving us dreamy, creamy zaddy realness.

He stepped in when Regina took a lil' stumble!

He did it so softly and subtly it was like he truly was a chivalrous ghost.

Not there to outshine Regina, just to simply assist her.

Imagine being so supportive of fellow coworkers? Of your talented peers??? It takes a true man to be so kind.

Also a moment of silence for Regina's sweet lil' mother.

Regina didn't let the help go unnoticed, saying "thank you, baby" which further induced everyone into blissful pop culture nirvana.

Can these two collab on something soon, or?

This isn't the first time chivalrous Evans has made an appearance.

Here he is helping everyone's favourite woman and actual angel on earth, Betty White!!!

Needless to say, Chris has got us feeling some type of way.

And it's a feeling that's pretty damn good, tbh!!!

And not to jump the gun but, wanna get married @chris?

I'm always falling flat on my face so I could really use a strong man with a strong forearm for emotional and physical support.

I think we just need a camera on him at all times at every award show to capture every beautiful moment he has.

Is that too much to ask?

In a room of hundreds of well dressed, handsome men— it takes a lot to stand out.

Yet somehow Chris manages to do that every time with his class and elegance. It's so simple but so important.

Why not be a gentleman, ya know?
