Twitter Hilariously Reacted To Adam Levine's 'Dead Eyed' Super Bowl Performance

There's a reason why Maroon 5 has been around for more than 20 years. They continue to put out bop after bop, but their Super Bowl performance this year just wasn't it.

Twitter had the most hilarious reactions and honestly, it's a big mood.

It didn't take long for people to decide how they felt about Maroon 5's Super Bowl performance.

It definitely wasn't the worst we've ever seen, I'll say that much.

But when you're going up against iconic shows in the past like Beyoncé, well, this is pretty much what we expected.

True though...

Adam definitely looked a little bored up there.

To be fair, this isn't anything new.

That serious smoulder is Adam's signature look!

He also really had no issue showcasing his dead eyes alongside his erect man nipples.

We love a good distraction attempt amirite ladies?

I'm sorry I really can't stop laughing at the hypocrisy.

Remember when Janet Jackson accidentally had a nip slip during her halftime show and everyone called the police?!

People quickly noticed that the shirt Adam was wearing, matched their living room decor.

I'm honestly impressed by how many people have the same throw pillows.

The design was hearkening back to more studious time, which isn't really a football vibe, ya know?

The library is an absolute no.

I mean, I love Target.

I wonder if this was some kind of sneaky publicity stunt to bring those neutral, geometric patterns back in style?

People also noticed Adam Levine has a lot of tattoos. Like, a whole damn 99 cent store ART gallery on his body.

Because why have one when you can have 700?

But let me make myself perfectly clear, I still absolutely have a lady boner for this manz.

But I wouldn't be a true fan if I didn't point out these sweet tats, now would I?

The SpongeBob bit was honestly the best.

It was probably all thanks to some millennial intern who guaranteed that people would love it.

And we did.

Kidding, of course. I'd just fast forward time.

At the end of the day, they did their best and that's all that matters.

I always love hearing their throwback songs, and the lanterns were a really pretty nice touch, so there's that.

I guess all that's left to say is "good luck" to whoever they pick to perform next year. We're rooting for you!

You don't have too much to live up to though, so that's good, right?
