Quotes For People Running Through Life On Fumes

I genuinely can't remember the last time I felt fully-rested.

It's not like I go to bed late. My head usually hits the pillow around 10-11 PM, and I don't actually get up until 6:30 AM the next day, alarm or not. So by all accounts, it seems like I should wake up feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day.

But here's the thing: I never do.

Once you reach a certain age, I believe your body can't figure out how to rewire itself and get back to running at 100%.

Instead of waking up energized and ready to tackle anything that comes your way, you drag yourself through each and every day, struggling just to make it to bedtime so you can do it all again in the morning.

But at what age exactly does your body just give up?

For me, I think it was at around 18. Right after high school, I started working full-time to put myself through university. And ever since then, I've just always been ready for a nap, not matter how much sleep I've actually gotten.

So, how old were you?
