The difference between an amateur and a professional isn't just the paycheck. It's also experience. I've done enough amateur moves in my lifetime, but I could never approach the level of packing perfection on display here.

You just don't see enough that's done in the medium of margarine these days. But the uploader of this pic couldn't help noticing how the margarine gods had smiled on them before spreading this tidy swirl on their toast in the morning.

As lattice work on the top of a pie goes, I don't think I've ever seen one work out so well. Talk about appetizing. This is prop-pie-on-a-pro-baking-show levels of perfection.

Obviously this tart will look much different when it's cooked. But for now, let's appreciate the effort and skill that went into slicing and arranging all that fruit so carefully to create that gorgeous gradient effect.

This berry merchant has attracted at least one eye with their colorful display. It's kind of a shame that taking a pint would mess up the arrangement, but hey, I think the seller would be okay with that.

Someone trying to restore an old, weathered deck clearly knows what they're doing. From top left to bottom right, it's almost like new again after a wash, sanding, and staining. Well worth the effort.

You've heard of paper cranes, of course, but someone decided to make one out of pastry. Even after cooking, their work held up. Might be a cool new look for dumplings or wontons, don't you think?

This isn't so much a finished work as it is a progress pic from a person learning crochet. You can see how the crochet loops are loose while they were learning towards the bottom, but as they learned and improved, the loops got much tighter towards the top.

You know you've done a great job when the seats change color because of the deep cleaning they got. The secret, just in case any pet owners out there were wondering? A rubber brush, a powerful vacuum, and about six hours of work.

Because it must have taken some serious time to arrange these shirts. Thank goodness someone took a pic, because it won't take long for shoppers to come in, pick through all the shirts and thoroughly mess it all up. I mean, how could you resist?
