With 793,777 confirmed cases throughout the world and at least 38,708 deaths at the time of this writing as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic, there is more reason than ever to be concerned about coronavirus.
As scared as most of us are, however, those whose jobs are now considered essential have particular reason to be anxious. Unlike many of us, they can't stay home and must face the risk of contracting the virus daily in the course of their jobs. For this reason, it's easy to understand why so many now laud these professionals as heroes.
And while health care workers are understandably the first example that tends to come to mind in people's well-wishes, grocery store employees and truck drivers also have incredibly important roles to play in our ability to get through this crisis.
But that list is missing another group that seriously deserves recognition, but often gets forgotten because they're not always around at the same time as us. Fortunately, the full video shows that the staff of at least one hospital understands how important they are.
