17+ Times People Took A Prank And Ran With It

Everyone loves pranks! Well, everyone except literally everyone in my extended family, as I found out much to my chagrin.

However, if you're here in this article, then odds are that you like a good prank! From giant billboards designed to embarrass your friends to tampering with coworker's desks, here are 17+ people who took a prank and ran with it which will hopefully inspire you to pull a little prank or two yourself!

Covering A Car In Post It Notes

Reddit | Saborwing

Apparently this took the three people who did it around 2 hours, and I can see why! I wonder if the person driving it took them all off afterwards or just drove it like that? I mean, they'd have to take the ones off the windows at least.

"Friends pranked me by converting my bedroom to a utility closet."

Reddit [deleted]

Yep, they actually built a little room within this person's bedroom. I do not know how these people had the time to do this, but they need to be commended for their tenacity!

"Seriously, who goes to a wedding in shorts? Totally disrespectful."

Reddit | McMilto

Look, as was accurately pointed out, at least Thanos and the guy in shorts are listening, the woman at the back is on her phone!

"My buddy puts up billboards for a living and is an avid disc golfer, so a group of of local discers pooled together enough money to pull this prank."

Reddit | Jaydeeem89

The person who posted this went on to say, "He had no idea until he finished putting the billboard up."

"What the shell are YOU looking at?"

Reddit | saxobroko

I don't know what that sea turtle has been up to, but I have a sneaking suspicion that it may have been smoking some sea-weed.

"My roommate left on a cruise for a week, right before all these snowstorms. I decided to play a little prank on him..."

Reddit | leparr

How would you get your car out of this situation? Would you take the snow pyramid down first? I'd have to drive through it like The Sweeney.

"Mom's watching Sixth Sense. I rush the kitchen and leave. Waiting for a call..."

Reddit | nowhereiswater

I can only imagine that the person who did this to their mother was never heard from again.

"High School Senior Prank makes it look like a car crashed into the school using black tarp, some bricks and a car cut in half."

Reddit | Detective51

When I was in high school I barely had the energy to do anything other than play videogames, let alone saw a car in half.

"I'm on vacation this week so I snuck in late Sunday night and set this up."

Reddit | suddenly_satire

How long do you think his coworkers were asking him if he wanted a coffee for before they completely blew their lid?

"Roommate has date coming by later and asked me to clean bc he's not home. I made a Princess D shrine in his room."

Twitter | Deno_Tron

Well, she was the queen of all of our hearts, wasn't she?

"Took me all afternoon but I regret nothing!"

Reddit | huh_wat_huh

I have seen the future of warfare, and it is cute, cuddly, and also extremely sharp if you get too close.

"I'm guessing 'Fish, Snakes, and Worms' just didn’t have the same appeal."

Reddit | Suprovation

This is no the only acceptable way to refer to fish. Octopus will also be also referred to as "meat with extra feet".

"One of the more successful pranks we pulled off in our workplace..."

Reddit | justinsmama

"RAWRGGWWAAARWGGGRR"... How was that?

"Wife put 'We Still Do. 13 Years' on this. I secretly added a word. She is posting this version to Facebook as I type this without realizing the change."

Reddit | PM_ME_WITH_A_SMILE

Unsurprisingly, there are a lot of pesky spouses who tamper with letterboards, as one person shared:

"My husband always messes with ours. At one point he had it as 'life is a blessing' but then once I was lured into a false sense of security he changed it to 'anal is a blessing'. Our neighbor came over (it hangs in our entryway) and was the one to point it out to me. That was nice."

"Friend's girlfriend has a night vision motion-activated camera setup to treat a sick coyote. He rented a Sasquatch outfit and walked around the camera at 4 am."

Reddit [deleted]

Apparently, she checks the footage religiously every morning, and was decidedly less than happy with this discovery.

"Boss said he was nervous that I was configuring our client's new computer on the ground. I decided to prank him."

Reddit | Win_in_Roam

If you find this funny and would like to work with this kind of person, then, funnily enough, this hilarious prankster is now looking for a new job!

"Using a prank idea from Askreddit, I put vanilla pudding in a mayonnaise jar. My kids were horrified as I ate it."

Reddit | narcolepsyinc

Surprisingly, I have actually seen my dad eat mayo straight from the jar before, and it was not vanilla pudding. It was an incredibly distressing day.

"Local strip club is finally clothed."

Reddit | DLove19

Isn't clothed cabaret just interpretive dance? I think that the Sugar 44 Cabaret may finally be turning into a more PG establishment.

"Received this in my change today... the word 'boner' hasn't made me laugh this hard in a long time."

Reddit | kmwebro

It is often the unexpected juvenile moments of humor that are the best in this world.

Sending Their Thoughts And Prayers...

Reddit | achillea666

It's good to finally know where those thoughts and prayers that people send across the internet actually end up.

"So after I swapped all the photos Tjmaxx took them all down and mailed them back to me with my last pay stub."

Reddit | Unthgod

When things like this happen, you can do little but ask yourself, "Was it worth it?" And the answer is always, "Yes, yes it absolutely was!"

"Wu-Tang Flan."

Reddit | Welcometomvrs

This is the most delicious prank on the list, I think that I may have to play this "prank" on myself.

Warning!

Reddit | MGTOWAmerican

Well, at least he is warning people, they must, therefore, be completely absolved of all responsibility if they reverse into someone.

"Prank at the office. Added twist, they are all stapled together."

Reddit | kadian

And yes, as it turned out, they were indeed all filled with a bit of water. The person who posted this wrote, "I told him he should just work around them until they evaporate."

"Coworker said we've been slipping on our pranks so we delivered. Can't wait till he finds out two are filled with glitter."

Reddit | i8pineapples

My aunt used to send everyone in the family birthday cards filled with glitter until we had to hold a family intervention about the issue.

"Friend's husband played a prank on her..."

Reddit | lil_gingerale

I don't care how big it is, don't be going squishing spiders guys! They're just looking for a place to stay!

"One of the better changing table graffiti."

Reddit | DuffManSzALotAThings

"Wwwaaaaaaa waaa waaaaaa!"

"Oh, sure, likely story! What do you think this is, my first day on the force?"

"Figured out who has been moving around all the stuff in my office. Left this little note for him."

Reddit | weulz

Would you risk using it? Or would you just buy yourself a new one? I mean, only an absolute psychopath would risk it.

"Chocolate dipped Brussels sprouts."

Reddit | Mlunadia

Now, I know that this is going to upset a lot of people, but I genuinely think that I would like these I bloody love sprouts!

Simple Yet Effective

Reddit | ZestyCriminal

It took me ages to realize what had been done to this note! Much like "Boner" note from earlier, sometimes it is the easy jokes that are the funniest!
