9+ Cakes That Fell Short Of Expectations

I've admitted this before but I'm going to repeat it again: I'm not a great baker. I dunno what it is, but just the fact that everything has to be absolutely precise when you bake seems to screw me up.

It looks like I'm not the only one struggling with this. Just check out these terrible cake fails that belong in the garbage.

1. This Chewbacca Cake

It goes without saying that this Chewbacca cake certainly didn't live up to the expectation. This looks more like a melted bird than anything from Star Wars.

2. This Red Velvet Christmas Cake

First of all, to attempt a beautiful Christmas cake like this you need mad skills, people. Otherwise, you'll end up with this.

3. This Baby Yoda Cake

Star Wars seems to be a popular choice when it comes to themed cakes. Unfortunately, Baby Yoda wouldn't be too impressed with this poor attempt.

I bet your kid would have loved to get a cute and pretty Hello Kitty cake. Turns out they had to settle for this nightmare.

5. This Snowman

Oh my goodness, what an adorable idea for a snowman cake. But what happened here? I guess he started melting already. Ha, ha. That's no good.

Clearly, baking isn't everyone's cup of tea.

I can definitely attest to that. So next time you want to attempt baking something elaborate just think twice about it. Ha, ha.
