Bambi, whether you like it or not, is becoming a live-action film.
Considering the lack of major action or music in the film, it'll be interesting to see how Disney develops it!
It partially has to do with making money any way that they can, and it also has to do with copyright issues.
It's a very complicated tale that we won't get into, but know this: another Disney classic is coming out of the vault to become a live-action film.
I can see it now: an entire new generation of children getting traumatized by the death of Bambi's mother.
Hopefully, it will happen off-screen like in the original.
Writers Geneva Robertson-Dworet, who is behind Captain Marvel and Lindsey Beer, who is behind Chaos Walking, will be writing the script for the movie.
Or at least, that's what the case is right now. Anything can change, especially with Disney.
