Tori Roloff Confirms Daughter Is A Little Person, Explains Why She Had To Have A C-Section

Little People Big World star, Zach Roloff and his wife Tori, welcomed their daughter, Lilah Ray, two months ago. Recently, Tori revealed that she had to have a c-section, and confirmed that their daughter is a little person.

On Wednesday evening, in a series of Instagram stories, "Little People Big World" star, Tori Roloff, explained why she needed to have a c-section when delivering her daughter a couple of months ago.

She also confirmed that her's and Zach's daughter is a little person.

As you may already know from watching "Little People Big World," Zach Roloff has dwarfism.

Back in October, at 34 weeks pregnant, Zach's wife, Tori, revealed in her Instagram story that any children she has with Zach have a 50/50 chance of being a little person.

This has been something that both Zach and Tori have been happily prepared for for a long time.

Especially considering their first child, Jackson, also has dwarfism.

“You have to encourage a dwarf child a little more because it will take them five steps to do what others can do in two,” Zach said after welcoming baby number one.

“But I knew, dwarf or not, I was going to parent my child with the mentality that not everyone gets a trophy. You have to earn it.”

It is safe to say that Zach and Tori have carried this same mentality through their second pregnancy.

Tori said they’d love “whatever pops out."

Shortly before Lilah's birth, the news was accidentally revealed by Zach's mother, Amy Roloff.

In a quickly deleted Facebook Live video, Amy was explaining the odds of Zach and Tori's child being a little person.

"It will be a little person," she stated, before Zach or Tori had publicly commented on this news.

"And just to give you a quick synopsis, they have a 50/50 chance of having a little person like Zachary, or be an average size person," she said.

However, Amy had nothing but great things to say about Tori's parenting.

“So, I commend Tori, she’s a good mom. I also commend her because realizing when you’re not used to it, she’s going to be the different one in her own family, instead of maybe Jackson or something like that,” she said.

“I think she is going to be great," Amy remarked.

"She is doing great. And I love how they are both parenting Jackson," she continued. "I think they are both doing wonderful in how they're doing that."

It has been two months since Tori and Zach welcomed baby Lilah, and Tori has been pretty quiet about whether her daughter is a little person or not.

On Wednesday evening, she held a Q&A in her Instagram story, inviting her fans to finally get the full scoop.

Obviously, this question was on the forefront of everyone's mind, so naturally, it was the first question asked.

Tori responded — straight to the point.

"Why did you have a second c-section?," asked another follower.

She explained that there was a good chance the doctors would need to perform an emergency C-section regardless.

“Because Lilah has dwarfism. It’s not that I couldn’t have a VBAC [vaginal birth after caesarean section] but just most likely it would have ended in a C-section so we just skipped ahead," Tori replied.

Another fan asked her to share the details of her C-section recovery.

“The hospital this time was so much more difficult for me,” she wrote.

“However I feel like I’ve recovered a lot faster this time around. Now just trying to get back into shape and love my body through [postpartum].”

"How are you doing as a mama of 2?," someone else asked.

“I freaking love it. I am so thankful and blessed by kiddos. Somehow we’re two for two for easy babies," she replied.

On New Years Eve, Tori shared a photo of herself cradling her newborn daughter, standing next to Zach, on Instagram.

“2019 changed our family forever for the better,” she captioned the photo.

“Our sweet Lilah girl joined the family and we couldn’t be more in love."

"I am so thankful for the growth and changes that happened in 2019," she went on.

"I am grateful for my little family. Especially my husband [Zach Roloff] who is leading us into 2020 to make it our best year yet!"

“I am excited to watch Jackson grow and develop into a BOY (he’s like no longer a toddler.")

"He’s a full on boy and I love every ounce of him! Happy New years friends!," she concluded.

Congratulations to Tori and Zach on adding another member to the Roloff family!
