'Late Late Show' Producer Insists James Corden Actually Does Drive During Carpool Karaoke

I just don't know what to believe anymore!

The world was thrown into shock and confusion when it seemed like it was revealed that James Corden is not actually driving when filming the famous Carpool Karaoke segment for The Late Late Show, but now it looks like that may have not been the total truth.

It all started when one Twitter user caught James filming the newest Carpool Karaoke with Justin Bieber.

The SUV James was 'driving' was actually being pulled by a truck using a rig, which lead fans to realize that there was a pretty good chance James was never actually driving during the segment — had we all been lied to?!

Parts of the story didn't add up to other fans.

Some fans had claimed to have seen James filming other epsiodes of the show without being pulled by any other vehicle, like this girl who saw them filming the episode with One Direction (rest in peace).

Ben Winston, the executive producer of 'The Late Late Show', has thrown his hat in the ring to defend the idea that James DOES drive.

He added that "By stunt I mean - dance routines / costumes / props etc ! Dont worry too much though. I’m pretty sure there are bigger issues to worry about!"

No, there isn't!

The show's official Twitter account really got wild with their own suggestion.

They suggested they don't even use a real car!

Honestly, at this point, I think I might believe that. I'll have to score an invite to feature in my own episode to check for sure.
