Woo! And here I thought that Season 10 was going to be the last one.
But no, we were graced from on high with yet another season of the amazing TV show, and fans (of which I include myself) could not be more excited.
Hey! You! Be more excited, darn it!
So we know that Archer finally wakes up from his coma at the end of Season 10, and that it's been three years since he had fallen into it.
And now... we get to see what the real world looks like.
Huge, gigantic problem with this new season: Adam Reed won't be serving as the showrunner.
Which doesn't sound like much until you realize that he's been the showrunner since Season 1.
Well, he did say that the series was going to change in Season 11.
When he talked to FX executives about the new season... well, I'll just let him say it.
“It’s just amazing to me that when we first floated this idea to FX, they were like, ‘Yeah, sure. Great.’ And that was the end of the discussion. It was like, ‘We’re going to totally blow apart what’s been a pretty successful formula…’ ‘Yeah, that’s fine. Go do that.'”
