American Girl's 2020 'Girl Of The Year' Is A Doll With Hearing Loss

Over the years, American Girl has become a lot more inclusive. The company started with three Caucasian dolls, now boasting 16 diverse characters with their own unique stories and histories.

The company recently revealed their 2020 Girl of the Year on Good Morning America, and she represents a major step for inclusivity in the world of play.

Joss Kendrick is a surfer and competitive cheerleader from Southern California.

She also has hearing loss.
