Joker was one of the most successful films of 2019, and it hasn't even been out for that long yet!
But the film as already passed the billion mark, making it the highest R-rated grossing film of all time (sorry Deadpool).
And now, a sequel is coming.
The info comes from The Hollywood Reporter and man it is some of the best news we've gotten so far.
People both liked and hated, but the lovers definitely outweighed the hatred.
Especially considering we are getting a sequel.
So, we can make a reasonable (and likely right) assumption that they will not be exploring Bruce Wayne's background in the sequel.
We truly have no idea, but we will be waiting with bated breath for more news to come our way.
