For the top girls' names, the traditional Biblical and Hebrew name "Adah" is number one.

Other top picks for girls include "Mika", "Nova", and "Aura".

One surprising pick for girls is "Billie", which is trending thanks to the popularity of singer Billie Eilish.

Another celebrity-inspired name for girls that made the list is "Reese", likely because of the continued popularity of Reese Witherspoon.

For boys, it looks like parents are getting inspired by classic country names.

"Austin" and "Cash" are two trending names for boys with southern roots.

"Alva", "Diego", "Tate", and "Luca" are a few of the other top picks for boys.

"Ellis", "Phoenix", and "Remy" are the top three baby names parents are picking for a gender-neutral option.

In addition to these names, Nameberry also picked a number of names which are quickly rising.

Thanks to the royal baby, "Archie" is considered one of the hottest names for boys in 2020, while news of The Little Mermaid remake has thrust "Ariel" into the spotlight for girls.
