Tom Holland's 'Spider-Man' Movies Won't Be On Disney+

Well, this is certainly some troubling news. The most troubling thought of all is: how the heck are we supposed to complete the 23 hour Marvel marathon without the Spider-Man movies?

Thanks a lot, Disney+, you basically just ruined everything for us.

Spider-Man has become such a huge part of the MCU.

Marvel

And that was showcased when he was taken from the MCU... albeit for a very brief amount of time.

That was because the fan backlash was so great Sony and Disney had to make a deal to bring him back.

But he's back in the MCU, and we can expect a Spider-Man movie in the future.

Marvel

The thing we should not expect, however, is to see the Spider-Man movies on Disney+ anytime soon because newsflash, they aren't going to be on there.

Guess that wasn't part of the deal.

Would you like to know why this great injustice is happening?

Marvel

Well, it all boils down to the details of the Disney/Sony deal.

Disney gets to use him in their productions, sure, but Sony deals with the distribution of the Spider-Man movies.

Which means they get to put it on any streaming service they so desire.

So when you're in your Marvel movie marathon, you're going to have to switch from Disney+ to another service halfway through.

Marvel

Which kind of sucks, but hey... at least you don't have to go to Blockbuster.
