Rihanna took to Instagram last night to give her fans a heads up that she is going to be laying low for a while.

And honestly, if anybody deserves a break, it's our girl, Riri.
It's really no surprise that Rihanna is at the end of her rope — she's been working hard as hell this year.

She's had a finger in just about every pie — makeup, lingerie, music — you name it, Riri was dabbling in it.
We already knew that Rihanna is an international super star who has given us hits like, "SOS", "Umbrella", "Work", among many others.

Her empire was on the rise — the perfect time to ignite other projects.
She teamed up with LVMH and created a makeup line that has turned our world's upside down.

When Fenty was first released, people didn't hesitate to jump on the bandwagon.
If Rihanna is giving us her stamp of approval, you just know it's gonna be good. We trust her.
The rest is history. Fenty has been the greatest thing since sliced bread. People can't get enough of it.

Since Fenty was doing so well, she took the opportunity to expand, starting up a lingerie line called, Savage x Fenty.
So far, Savage x Fenty has really taken off. But there was a bit of drama over the summer...
Last summer, Savage x Fenty was under fire for sneakily tricking customers into monthly memberships.
This obviously didn't go over well with fans.
Shoppers were unknowingly signing up for a $50 “Xtra VIP” monthly membership with any purchase of an item off of the site.
Customers weren't even noticing the money disappearing from their accounts until months later.
As you can see, Rihanna has had her hands full. The pregnancy rumors didn't help.

After saying: "I'm a black woman. I come from a black woman who came from a black woman, who came from a black woman, and I'm gonna give birth to a black woman," in an interview with Essence, fans began to speculate that she was expecting.
"That's who I am. It's the core of who I am, in spirit and in DNA."

When asked more directly by another reporter how she feels about all the pregnancy-related questions, she said: "I don't know," she said. "A lot of women get very defensive because it's personal. It's our bodies."
"It's not necessarily everyone's dream to be a mom, but it's mine so I'm fine," she added.

"I don't think about stuff like that. But I look forward to all of the pregnancy rumors after this interview."
She posted this sultry, slow-motion video of herself walking in a bikini to shut down those pesky pregnancy rumors.
Nonetheless, I can imagine how stressful it might be to be constantly asked whether or not you're pregnant.
So, as I mentioned, Riri is taking a well-deserved break.

She took to Instagram last night to let everybody know that she is going to be off of our radars for a little while.
"To all my friends/family/coworkers who I have yet to get back to in the past months," she began. "Please forgive me."

Evidently, people have been blowing up her phone at a faster rate than she can keep up with.
I kinda wish I knew what that was like!

Her message was short and to the point. Very Rihanna-esque, if you ask me.
Hopefully she won't be gone for long! We're all still waiting on that next album she's been teasing us with!
