Dad Throws Son A Costco Birthday Party After His Wife Let Him Pick The Theme

Coming up with a cool theme for your child's first birthday party that hasn't been done before is surely a tall order. But not if you're this creative family.

Apparently, when this mother allowed her son's birthday party theme to be picked by her husband she didn't expect it to be a Costco-themed party. But then again she should have known since her husband is obsessed with Costco. Hee, hee.

Josie, a mother of two used to be a high school English teacher before she became a full-time mom.

She's been married to her husband Sebastian for six years.

Sebastian is a financial advisor so he's always been good with money and he's a huge fan of Costco for obvious reasons.

This party's theme was on point.

So it's no surprise that it was his idea to turn their kid's birthday party into a full-on Costco experience.

And it all came together in just two weeks.

Sebastian got the idea from other viral Costco DIYs.

It just happened that the party was around Halloween and everybody was sending the family pictures of memes with kids and dogs dressed up as Costco employees!

From there, Sebastian got the brilliant idea to do a Costco-themed party.

Even though initially the idea seemed absurd to Josie she immediately jumped on board and started preparing.

And as we see from this spread it definitely came together nicely.

The couple even got their dog involved. I hope they didn't actually give him away for free. Hee, hee.

This family really loves Costco so much that they buy pretty much everything there.

From diapers to formula to groceries, they buy a lot of their essentials there. This party was totally up their alley.

Looks like their Costco-themed party was a big success and everyone thoroughly enjoyed it including their son and Sampson the dog.

They got lots of positive comments about it online.

So do you think this was a good idea?

Would you ever consider throwing a party that was themed after one of your favorite retailers? Ha, ha. Hmm, sounds interesting.
