It may not have been diverse, it may have even been problematic at times, but it stands the test of time as being one of the greatest comedies ever made.

‘Friends’ Reunion Special With All Six Original Characters In The Works
The show, and the original characters, are making a return.

HBO Max is talking with the cast about some kind of reunion special, but they're keeping their lips sealed on what we can expect.
The Hollywood Reporter came out to say the following:

“Sources caution that a deal is far from done and agreements with cast and creatives still need to be hammered out,”
They are telling people to be cautious with their hope:

“When and if deals are completed, the challenge then becomes sorting out everyone’s schedules. Of course, the talks could fizzle and the whole concept could fall apart.”
Nevertheless, fans are, of course, super excited about the prospect.
The possibilities are endless--there could be a movie, a two-hour special, or a mini-series!
