Sharon Stone is an icon of our time, who has played in some iconic roles, including the movie Basic Instinct.
Unfortunately, that movie caused people to not take her completely seriously, but Sharon didn't rest until she was recognized in Hollywood for her amazing acting skills rather than just her looks.
Her role in Basic Instinct definitely made people sexualize her, but she turned it into something to empower her, and she definitely showcased that at the awards.
While doing so, she recreated her famous leg-crossing scene from her very famous movie Basic Instinct.
But without the flashing, of course. That is just another example of how she can make any role of hers that was purely to sexualize her and turn it into a modern empowering moment.
