Samsung TV Owners May Not Be Able To Stream Netflix Anymore

So, for a long time, Netflix was the biggest player in the game, but now, the streaming wars are beginning, which means changes are coming.

One of them is specific to Samsung TV owners, so consider this your official warning!

Netflix is going through a lot of difficulties and changes lately.

They're having to deal with losing money because of password changes, and the competition that is rising because of competing streaming services.

And with Disney+ on the way, things are only going to get more difficult for Netflix.

Disney+ is definitely going to grab a lot of people's attention.

So Netflix will definitely hurt.

Unfortunately for Netflix lovers, things are about to get a whole lot worse.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but worse things are coming beyond Netflix cracking down on Netflix sharing.

Netflix will no longer be available on certain Samsung TVs.

Which is just about the most annoying thing I think that could happen to those poor Samsung owners.

This news comes from the Samsung website itself, so it's pretty legit.

Some Smart TV apps will no longer support Netflix by the 1st of December in 2019.

Because of this, some of the older Smart TVs will no longer be able to support Netflix's latest and newest features.

But don't worry, it's not all bad news.

If your television was impacted, there is a way around it!

Netflix

You can use a gaming console or any other kind of media that is able to stream Netflix for you.

The notice says:

"Although some of our older TV's will no longer support Netflix directly beginning December 1st, 2019, many other devices you may have connected to your TV are still supported."

It continues by saying:

"You can find a list from Netflix at netflix.com/compatible devices. As long as you have one of the supported devices, like a game console, streaming media player, or set-top box, you'll still be able to watch Netflix on your TV."

So if you've been debating whether or not you should by a Playstation, this might push you in the right direction.

Take the leap, it's one of the only ways to keep Netflix on your television.

So, make sure you figure out whether or not your device was impacted.

If it is, I truly feel sorry for you. Netflix is changing quite a bit.

Happy streaming!
