Life is hard. Let's face it, us women have a lot on our plates! We spend our days as business moguls, moms, students, and generally boss ass ladies — and with the help of a little dry shampoo and Merlot we can rule the world!

Tbh, I find life is easier when we get a little creative, and I'm a sucker for anything that will make my life easier. Thanks to the wonderful people of the internet, I've compiled a list of the best life hacks a girl could ask for. *Hint Hint, some involve wine!*

1. Filter your vodka to make it taste better.

Make your vodka go down the hatch a bit smoother by running it once or twice through your home filtering system. Straight, no chaser. You'll thank me later.

2. Spot fake designer handbags with ease.

According to handbag expert Sophie Herson, there are key components to spotting a dud. Look out for things like the weight of the product, as well as the stitching and the authenticity of the logo. If these things are difficult to spot on a particular bag, there are several ways you can request authentication.

3. Use one of your 10 lipbalms to stop bleeding from shaving.

Face it, you probably have a bedroom Chap-Stick, a car Chap-Stick, a purse Chap-Stick... Take one and keep it near your shower, because a little bit of this will stop the bleeding from an accidental knick in the shower.

4. Use baby powder as dry shampoo.

This is something I always swear by! As an avid user of dry shampoo, I can attest that in a pinch, a little bit of baby powder will absorb all the oils the same way as your favorite brand would. No more worries when your can is suddenly empty!

5. Freeze grapes to chill your wine.

Instead of using ice cubes that will inevitably melt and water down your wine, why not freeze a few grapes and use them to chill your wine instead?! It's easy, and you can eat them afterward. A drink and a snack? 10/10 would recommend.

6. Open a bottle of wine with your car key.

If you're anything like me, you've been in a situation where you just don't have a corkscrew, and, for whatever reason, you're stuck. Have no fear! Your car key is a perfect stand-in for that underappreciated kitchen appliance.

7. Use a banana peel to whiten your teeth.

Next time you're munchin' on your breakfast banana, save the peel and rub it against your teeth. Banana peels contain stain removing properties that leave your teeth looking much whiter after a few uses. You may look like an idiot, but at least you'll have white teeth!

8. When traveling, pack your shoes inside a shower cap.

You know you don't want to plop your gross hiking sneakers in the same bag as all of your clean clothes, but you're trying to pack light... Simply grab a shower cap and pull it around your shoes, keeping them separate from the rest of the contents in the bag so everything stays clean and fresh!

9. Use a hair dryer to stretch out tight shoes.

Bought a pair of flats that you ADORE, but they're just a little too tight? Plop on a pair of thick socks, jam your foot into those bad boys, and hit them with a hair dryer. The heat with help expand the materials, resulting in stretched shoes and happy feet!

10. Sew a bra strap holder in your blouses.

This is so easy and so convenient. Head to any craft store and grab a couple clasps, cut a strip from an old t-shirt, and sew one end of the strip and a clasp to the underside of the shirt shoulder. Viola! Consider your straps concealed.

11. Use white wine to remove red wine stains.

Believe it or not, you can use white wine to remove your red wine stains. You apply it the same way you would baking soda or any other typical cleaning solution, and let it sit. You'll begin to notice the effects!

12. Use conditioner to shave.

When you run out of shaving cream, don't go without! Just use a little bit of your conditioner to moisturize your skin while you shave. It'll make your legs feel silky smooth, and you'll barely notice the difference.

13. Use a bit of plywood to have the ultimate bubble bath.

This is one of my favorites. This can be accomplished with any kind of wood, as long as it can span the width of your bathtub. You can keep your candles, a good book, and a glass of wine with you as you sit back and relax. A well-deserved treat, if you ask me.

14. Keep your drunk pizza fresh by using water in the microwave.

During a night out, my eyes are much bigger than my stomach. The next morning, I'm faced with the sad truth that I, in fact, cannot eat a whole large pizza by myself. An easy way to keep the leftover pizza edible the next day is to place a glass of water in the microwave along with your slices. The only thing better than drunk pizza is hangover pizza. Maybe.

15. Make homemade wine in an Instant Pot.

Yes, this is exactly what it sounds like. All you need is an Instant Pot, grape juice, sugar, red wine yeast, tape, a funnel, and 48 or so hours. The process is relatively tricky, so it's recommended to visit this site for the full recipe and directions.

16. Use tape for the perfect winged eye-liner.

I've given up on smudgy wings and uneven lines. Once I learned this hack, I never went back (heh). Put a small piece of tape along the line you'd like to see your wing and/or shadow cut, and when you're done, just peel it off to reveal the perfect cat eye!
