16 Pics That Broke Our Brains

Spend enough time on the internet and you can see some truly mind-bending things. It seems that maybe reality makes a little less sense with every week that goes on. Whether they seem impossible, improbable, or utterly inadvisable, here are 16 pictures that point out the bizarre corners of the way we can change reality for the weirder.

1. What, I'm supposed to park my truck in the driveway like some kind of peasant? Please. Pass the saw.

Reddit | jetxobri

This is WAY easier than just buying a regular-sized truck.

2. The next time I go to the movies I'm going to have to skip out on the credits or I'm going to suffer the worst attack of nausea.

Reddit | Artur-Hawkwing

Unless they're going to let go at the top and free-fall, Tower of Terror style. That could be cool.

3. Got rid of the chairs, boss.

Reddit | Loecxi

For months afterward, it was nearly impossible to find a seat in any restaurant in the city, from the finest gastropub to the meanest diner.

4. Who knew the ocean was so deliciously comfy? A soft foamy blanket and that all-natural white noise machine.

Reddit | SamsonKane

This is what happens when you hit that Moana level of friendship with the ocean.

5. Borker has encountered a run-time error and must shut down.

Reddit | FROSTbite910

Human, I have many questions. Why do you throw sticks into the sky, and why do I never fall into the void?

6. They laughed at me when I took that niche program at dental school.

Reddit | lindseyannd

"There's no money in snake braces," they said. "Why can't you just be normal?"

Well, who's laughing now?

7. Photoshop was a mistake.

Reddit | ToxxicTalon

The list of things that make me fundamentally uncomfortable about this picture could probably paper an average-sized freeway, but to keep it short: I'm pretty sure the look in both of their eyes means I'm about to become a snack.

8.  Yes sir, there's nothing quite like a bona fide, genuine, one-of-a-kind Tac-Sac Backpack.

Reddit | ElRaftog

He's got your back and with leg room to spare! Not recommended for use on ice, oily surfaces, or near banana peels.

9. Near the end of his life, M.C. Escher began working with Lego in an attempt to introduce the next generation to the concept of gibbering madness.

Reddit | Dacvak

Despite being impossible under the laws of Euclidean geometry, they still hurt like anything when you step on them.

10. In the radiation-scarred landscape of the future, there is one group that you can call on...if you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them: Swap Force.

Reddit | Improvis2

Ol' T-Rex might not be much help, come to think of it.

11. OK seriously, could whoever is programming this reality please do us all a favor and remember to clean up their code before they finish?

Reddit | Reddit

I've been stuck in this recursion for weeks now and let me tell you, drinking fountain water loses its novelty after the first hour or so.

12. The corporate civil wars of the future made for some interesting alliances.

Reddit | andythekraken

"Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right — here I am, just trying to order some food."

13. This classic four-door is a beaut, ain't she? Although getting into a fender-bender is a bit more complicated than in other cars.

Reddit | kamuy1337

Plus the gas tank is actually in one of the headlights, so...try not to get rear-ended.

14. Boomers: "Back in my day, we didn't have this safety nonsense! We drank from the hose, we didn't wear helmets, and we dangled our children out of the driver's side window."

Reddit | BookerGinger

"And we LIKED it."

15. That feeling when you're just minding your own business and out of nowhere BAM! A loaf of bread on the bathroom window.

Reddit | joannacat

This might be the weirdest marketing campaign I've ever seen.

16. BREAKING:  Proof that an alternate dimension exists and that it is just as utterly boring as our own.

Reddit | torresromain

Oh, this side? Yeah, it's pretty much the same, maybe a couple of differences. We put tomatoes in fruit salads over here. Wait, where are you going?

17. There aren't many qualities I look for in a steering wheel, but "actually possible to use" is definitely one of them.

Reddit | catheww

Unless Jigsaw designed this car for someone else to wake up in while it's in motion, I can't even come close to fathoming what made this seem like a good idea.

18. Apparently, this is how this man normally reads a book.

Reddit | mullersmutt

I'll admit that it can get pretty dark in my house, too, but this somehow seems less comfortable than straining to make out words in low light.

19. I'm not exactly sure how Terry thought this was going to go, but he seems to think the world has more unwritten rules than it does.

Reddit | The_Lighter_Side

Not only does it turn out that the painters are better at deciding when the job is done than we are, but it also turns out that throwing an Uno reverse card at them and running away isn't a good payment plan.

20. This art piece in New Zealand definitely makes an impression even if what it's supposed to mean isn't exactly clear.

Reddit | TheTravelSlut

This hand man seems very confident, but he also didn't forget his manner, his pinky is out, after all.

21. This bus in Cardiff, Wales has an unexpected passenger on board.

Reddit | hazzanad20

Yup, that's a horse and I really wish I was there to understand how it made it on the bus in the first place.

The way I see it, we're either dealing with one incredibly burnt out driver or one incredibly persuasive horse.

22. Those masks take the vibe of this little canoe trip from goofy to sinister really quick.

Reddit | rastroboy

And since they're all trying to dress like Krampus, it's not like the context makes it any better.

Oh, these guys aren't trying to rob me, but rather torment me because Santa didn't think I was good this year? Yay...

23. Believe it or not, I can almost understand what would make this woman think she could feed these things.

Reddit | Gonumen

Based on her worried expression, it's pretty clear that this is no joke to her and she has no idea what a drone is.

With that in mind, it's probably not that hard to pilot one of these things in such a way that it actually seems alive.

24. Imagine wasting your time hunting for Bigfoot in the woods only to learn that he was just riding a Russian subway all along.

Reddit | HotInsurance69

And as for why none of these people ever snitched him out, it may not have ever occurred to them to good ol' Hairy Victor would be known by that name.

25. I'd probably go outside a lot more if friendly animals just randomly poked their heads out of brickwork as I passed by.

Reddit | Wiildman8

As far as know, pigs can't read, but somehow, this one still knew that it was safest among the bricks.

26. I won't lie, I would probably make the exact same face as this bear cub if someone put me in charge of flying a plane.

Reddit | seven_critical_blows

If this bear could talk, it would probably make all sorts of confessions about lying on its resumé right now.

27. The best part about this picture is that I'm not sure it even cracks the top 10 for insane moments in wrestling.

Reddit | SuperCr8zyManiac

Still, imagine showing up to work only to be told, "Hey, put on this really loud gorilla suit and dropkick that guy in the chest. Don't worry, Billy will hold you up."

28. Well well well, looks like this chicken has quite the puzzle in front of it if it wants to get at the corn chips.

Reddit | catbeweird

It's all fun and games now, but things are about to get really awkward when it finds its way in the meat section.

29. I guess these guys are getting the job done, but was the boss really so unwilling to give them a ladder?

Reddit | NKVDawg

It's perfectly reasonable to expect a couple of these guys to hold the ladder while the person on top fixes the line, being being the ladder is a completely different story.

30. I get the appeal of something like this, but there comes a time when we have to say, "Enough!"

Reddit | Ganjubas228

It may seem appetizing at first, but the body has a way of making something delicious taste downright disgusting when it's clear you were full 10 bites ago.

31. That's a beautiful owl, but it would hard not be uncomfortable sitting next to a literal bird of prey on the train.

Reddit | Ganjubas228

And in this woman's case, the fact that it keeps staring at her probably isn't helping.

32. Sailors may not be made for defeat, but I guess there's no rule saying they can't be made of cabbage.

Reddit | Zakakutya

I can't help but wonder whether whether thee guy made of tin foil is in a different branch of the military, though. Like, is that how it works?
