Brides Are Trading In Their Flowers For Sweet Cotton Candy Bouquets Instead

Since I'm recently engaged, and wedding planning is all I can think of. And when I look into all that's involved, I realize that it's a huge expense. From flowers to decor to food— it all adds up. So I'm always looking for ways to cut back on expenses.

One fun and inexpensive trend I stumbled upon is edible bouquets. And one recent trend is cotton candy. Check it out!

So apparently this year is the year of edible bouquets instead of real flowers.

Not only this is a cheaper option but it also seems like it's more fun.

And this year, cotton candy seems to be the bouquet of choice when it comes to trendy and fun brides.

I think this is such a great and unique idea.

Instead of posing with a bouquet of actual flowers, brides have been spotted holding cute cotton candy on a stick.

Check out this fun picture of a bride sporting one.

Not only this idea is very different from the norm but it also comes with an added perk.

You get to eat your bouquet at the end of the night!

You can also jazz up your cotton candy bouquet or "fairy floss" as they call it with a few subtle flowers for that added feminine touch as they did here.

It looks too cute to eat!

How amazing does that look? What a stunning way to make the simple cotton candy floss look so much more luxurious.

And then there's the bridal party.

Why not incorporate them into your cotton candy idea? This picture looks like a fun bonding moment for all the girls. Totally picture worthy.

I love this picture so much. What an awesome and unique idea instead of those typical bridal party photos.

This picture is making me wish that I had a bridal party so I could get some fun pictures like this.

Hmm, maybe I should consider having one after all.

And how about having some fun with your fiancé?

Why not bring him into the cotton candy action? This picture looks like they're having loads of fun. And it's yummy!

If you're a nature kind of bride, posing with a cotton candy bouquet can look both pretty and sweet at the same time.

I'm loving this outdoor bridal shot.

You can also set up a cotton candy making machine as a bridal station at your wedding.

That way all the guests can partake in getting some sweet treats.

If you think a cotton candy bouquet is only reserved for non-traditional weddings, think again.

Check out how it seamlessly fits into this South Asian wedding and still looks really stunning.

I would have never thought of opting for a flower-less wedding bouquet until I saw this cotton candy idea.

Since I'm already a lover of cotton candy, this sounds delicious.
