16 Times The World Gave Us What We Wanted For Once

Diply 30 Apr 2018

Ever since we first threw ourselves to the ground in the toy aisle, we've learned the hard way that you can't always get what you want.

And I don't have the numbers in front of me, but it seems like saying we get it even some of the time is kinda stretching it.

But every full moon or so, it does happen — especially if you want werewolves.

The rest of us will probably be happier with these pictures.

1. Shout-out to this person for not putting the doggo through the sting of letting your friends drag you into a night out.

Plus, a squirrel video is much less likely to make him take off in a random direction than a real squirrel would.

2. Ah, there's nothing quite like that feeling when you're driving and the wind rushes through your hair.

Maybe if Chucky did stuff like this more often, he wouldn't have been so cranky. Yes, that's how I'm describing his attitude. Am I wrong?

3. I'd like to think that this guy just adds more and more to his outfit every day.

If we check back in a year, I bet this smart little number will become a full-fledged itchy suit of armor.

And hey, he's already halfway done with the helmet.

4. I'm just glad to know that there's an age before people start having those annoying tipping arguments.

Get 'em used to it this early and they won't grow up to be those people who take a dollar away every time the server doesn't read their mind.

5. This guy may be new to the concept, but he already has a better understanding of "lit" than most of our parents.

But where does he live that people still make it rain? Let me rephrase that — that people can still afford to make it rain?

6. As much as Drill Bot sounds kind of mean, I can't help but love him thanks to this artist's rendering.

Reddit | xXfabroXx

The drilling and killing is one thing, but he can chomp, too? I mean, he doesn't really have to since he's a robot, but he can.

7. This may not be the highest-quality photo in the world, but capturing this at all would already feel impossible, so let 'em live.

The Riddler could never stop leaving clues for Batman, but he might've actually gotten away if they were ever this subtle.

8. I think airports are the one place where the five o'clock rule doesn't apply because we have to tolerate them somehow.

So, not only will she have no problem getting rid of this thing, but the other passengers will probably hail her as a hero.

Don't hate, TSA.

9. There are a lot of signs that a day is gonna suck, but we've finally found one that suggests it's gonna be awesome.

If these numbers all come up on a lottery ticket, you should get double the prize.

Sadly, the gaming commission doesn't agree with me.

10. Sorry, Infinity War, but your throne for the most ambitious crossover has been usurped.

You might have a more exciting raccoon, but what chance does Thanos have a against a horse detective or, God forbid, Greg?

Fedora Ron kinda seems like the Hawkeye of the group, though.

11. I know what you're thinking, and yes, having to win at solitaire to take out money would make it a lot harder.

But, let's be honest — how often have we taken out cash and wished we'd just left it alone? This will save us from ourselves.

12. This should be horrifying, but whoever did it was talented enough to somehow combine both characters' friendliest features.

If mad science turned out like this more often, every Nobel Prize winner would have crazy hair and rant about time travel.

That's the universe I wish I called home.

13. This is probably just me, but there's just something magical about watching Disney characters flop around in a washing machine.

Instagram | @meme.w0rld

Maybe one day, Disney World will make that an attraction and I'll know I'm not alone. It'll at least beat the Country Bear Jamboree, right?

14. Based on this guy's inspiration, I think it would be easier if we just condensed all his memes to the evil Patrick from SpongeBob SquarePants.

I suppose then, he wouldn't be able to go all out with the hoop earrings, though. That'd be a crying shame.

15. I think that's less of a burrito and more of an ingenious way for this guy to drink in public.

Instagram | @will_ent

But, if you find a burrito place where the employees have confused looks on their faces because he makes them blend everything, I'll humbly accept defeat.

I'm not sure how early they came for the theater to be that empty, though. Did it just finish playing Ready Player One?
