It's almost time for the Met Gala in New York City. And that means it's almost time to see your favorite celebrities dressed up in the finest couture as the stride up the steps of the famed Metropolitan Museum of Art.
I wish I could say that everyone who is anyone will be in attendance, but that wouldn't be exactly true.
Here's a look at which celebrities are saying, "bye Felicia" to the Met Gala festivities and which celebrities have been outright banned from attending.
The Met Gala, a.k.a. the Costume Institute Gala or the Met Ball, is a yearly fundraising event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City.
Each year, the gala celebrates the theme of the Costume Institute's exhibit for that year.
Some of the outfits over the years have been breathtaking, while others have been pretty questionable.
Except for the celebs who absolutely detest the event.
The former One Direction group member attended the 2016 Met Gala with his then-girlfriend Gigi Hadid.
And looked amazing in his Versace robotic arm suit, might I add.
In an interview with GQ magazine he said, "I’d rather be sitting at my house, doing something productive . . . To do the self-indulgent, ‘Look at me, I’m amazing’ thing on the red carpet, it’s not me."
"It's people doing an impression of having a conversation… I don’t like the farce," she told Howard Stern on his radio show back in 2016. "We're dressed up like a bunch of f--king a--holes."
Amy did end up going to the Met Gala the following year but we doubt we'll be seeing her again this year.
The comedian had some strong opinions to share after she attended the event once and vowed to never attend again.
She then went on to say, "Everyone is there, everyone. If you had a million arms, all the people you would want to punch are there."
Yikes.
In fact, there was one celebrity encounter that was so bad that Demi had to leave early and take herself to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting instead.
"This one celebrity was a complete b**ch and was miserable to be around. It was very cliquey," she told Billboard about her experience in 2016. "I remember being so uncomfortable that I wanted to drink."
She later went on to say that she related more to the homeless people at the AA meeting than she did with the stars at the gala who were "fake and sucking the fashion industry's d--k."
In a 2017 game of "Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts" on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Anna Wintour was asked about who wouldn't be invited back to the Met Gala.
Her answer? Donald Trump.

The famous stylist may have said too much when she told the New York Times, "Anna Wintour is one of my heroes, but they say that I’m more influential," in a 2007 profile piece.
While she did attend the gala in 2010 and 2012, Rachel hasn't been spotted on the Met Gala steps ever since.
I think the lesson here is don't mess with Anna!
