Cardi B Just Deleted Her Instagram Account After Posting Rant About Grammy Win

In case your whole life doesn't revolve around social media and pop culture, like mine, you may missed the hot goss' that Cardi B won Best Rap Album of the year at this past Sunday night's Grammy awards.

Cardi B was serving us Birth of Venus realness on the Grammy red carpet.

And then she won her first Grammy, and all seemed right in the universe of Cardi B.

That night, the BET Twitter account decided it was a good time to take Cardi's win and use it to throw major shade at Nicki Minaj, for seemingly no reason at all.

People were very confused by this and also super pissed.

Not only was this a super tasteless and uncalled for move that could have thrown Nicki and Cardi back into a mini feud, it was also just dumb.

Why can't we lift up one woman without tearing another down? I'm so over the media pinning these women against each other, tbh.

The next morning, Nicki Minaj understandably cancelled all her scheduled BET performances, because the queen is not here to be disrespected.

This is a much classier and mature reply than I would have given, TBH.

The BET account sent out this apology a few hours after Nicki announced she was cutting ties with the network.

"BET loves Nicki Minaj. We have supported her from the very beginning of her career and will continue to do so moving forward."

Nothing in their apology addressed Cardi, though. Considering they used her as a vehicle for their shade towards Nicki, I think that's super messed up.

"We have apologized to Nicki and her team. The post has been removed and we have taken additional appropriate action."

Cardi B wasn't having the dig at Nicki, and took to Insta to rant and give us LIFE in the same breath.

She started her video by saying she doesn't support people dragging someone down in order to bring someone else up.

She then goes on to defend her Grammy win, because people really can't stop sucking for like five(!!!) minutes.

“I remember last year when I didn’t win for ‘Bodak Yellow’ and everybody was like, ‘Cardi got snubbed,' Now this year’s a f— problem?!" she said.

Imagine winning an award you wanted your whole life and then having to defend yourself for winning said award?

Makes me super sad, tbh :(

A few hours after the rant was posted, Cardi deleted her Instagram account.

Regardless of how you feel about Cardi, there's no denying she's had a fat banger of a year, career wise.

Lady Gaga has also joined the female empowerment effort by supporting Cardi in a series of tweets.

Just some legends supporting legends, y'all!

Which is a massive deal because Cardi has been a baby monster for 5ever!

Look at this tweet from the summer of 2016! AH!

I hope Cardi can take a step back from the negativity on social media and enjoy her win.

It's not everyday you earn a friggin' Grammy! OOkkkkkurrrrr?

If all this Cardi news has got you down, don't worry.

Queen Nicki tweeted out all these shady comments being left on the BET Insta account, and I'm screaming!!!! We love justice!
