When these two love birds got together, they decided to lead with love — and when two of their four children were born with Down syndrome, they took that belief to heart.

They turned this dedication into Bitty & Beau's Coffee, a shop named after their youngest kids, and filled with employees who live with intellectual and developmental disabilities!

It's inspiring to see people with Down syndrome enjoying job satisfaction, relationship building and the opportunity to be self-sufficient.
Often times, people disregard those with intellectual disabilities because they assume that they are not able to do work, but that simply isn't the case.
In the end, it's the rest of the world that's missing out — and we could change that, one shop at a time.
