18+ Times Nicki Minaj Clapped All The Way Back

In the eight years Nicki Minaj has spent in the public eye so far, she's definitely seen her share of beef. And whenever Lil' Kim, Remy Ma or Cardi B have had something to say to her, she's been known to respond with her trademark no-holds-barred ferocity.

Those artists may be major targets for her, but by now, Nicki has absolutely made it clear that anybody can get it.

So if anyone out there feels like stepping up and dissing her, this is what they should expect to get for their troubles. I don't think they want those troubles.

There's no time when a death threat is even close to acceptable and Nicki was not trying to see any directed at her fans.

It doesn't matter who started whatever argument led to this. One thing was for certain. Nicki was gonna finish it.

When things get too intense, sometimes it's easier to make a general statement instead of addressing everyone individually.

Still, it's not like she's not perfectly willing make her responses more personalized, too. As we're about to see, she's a big fan of the personal touch.

Of course, not all of Nicki's responses are brutal. She can be tactful. Being mean is just more fun.

And based on what else we're going to see her say today, she probably hadn't intended to single out Taylor Swift here. If she had, there'd be no room for confusion.

For instance, here's how much she appreciates it somebody pretends to be her.

Instagram | @nickiminaj, Twitter

Based on what she's saying, it looks like her impostor was out here trying to catfish somebody?

I'm sure he didn't find it suspicious that a world-famous celebrity would randomly start flirting with him.

Somebody had some nerve to be like that.

Sometimes, Nicki really gets on a roll and lets two people have it at once.

Perez Hilton apparently took Mariah Carey's side when she and Nicki had beef, so neither of them were safe from her wrath.

Not bad for just 140 characters.

Apparently, Nicki did not agree when someone told her that her work needed a new, more mature direction.

Twitter | @WannasWorld

As far as I can tell, that's all the person she's talking to said before they caught this merciless clapback. Something about this is all kinds of wrong.

Haha, it's hard to imagine a more embarrassing block reason than "not knowing how to read."

Twitter | @MorganPnkPrint

It does seem like somebody was a little too wrapped up in getting their screed out to make sure Nicki actually said what they think she did, though.

For anyone trying to talk at Nicki multiple times, be careful. She has a long memory for that type of thing.

Twitter | @MorganPnkPrint

I guess when you have to remember as many lyrics as she does, your ability to recall things never stops being sharp.

Oof. This may seem like a short response for her, but how much time would you wanna spend on someone who says something like this?

Twitter | @MorganPnkPrint

It takes some serious thirst to act this wild when all she posted was a message on a blackboard. "Or nah," indeed.

This clapback was so intense that it made whoever tried to mess with her delete the original tweet.

Instagram | @nickiminaj, Twitter

Unfortunately, that makes it pretty hard to tell what the problem even was, but they obviously didn't want her to say something "way more embarrassing."

I guess that's the important thing.

At this point, Nicki's had so much practice clapping back at people that she's coming up with new things to call them.

Twitter | @MorganPnkPrint

"Ug mug" is a new one on me, but I should definitely start saying "I run an empire" the next time somebody disrespects me.

OK, Trey Songz didn't really clap at Nicki first, but there are some things people need to stop for doing for their own good.

Twitter | @MorganPnkPrint

She obviously couldn't stand to watch somebody try to floss with one hand and take a selfie with the other.

There's an easier way.

It's hard to tell without the context, but this takedown appears to be directed at Cardi B.

Instagram | @nickiminaj, Twitter

I can't speak to whether Cardi B has a ghostwriter, but I know that Nicki has no time for them.

Say what you want about Nicki's lyric, "My man full, he just ate, I don't duck nobody but tape. Yeah, that was a setup for a punchline on duct tape," but that was definitely all her.

To be fair, I'm not sure what else you're supposed to do when someone announces that they're unfollowing you.

Twitter | @MorganPnkPrint

Like, it's already happening, right? Or were they hoping that she'd say "No wait, please don't" or something?

Is this customer feedback now?

I didn't think there was another way to interpret "congrats to all involved" but someone apparently read "especially me" into that.

Twitter | @MorganPnkPrint

I've gotta admit that I haven't heard anybody tell people to laugh away from their page, though. That's a pretty funny mental image.

Man, this post sure got a lot of hate, it's the second time we're seeing it.

Just because Nicki doesn't respond to somebody's diss on her own page, that doesn't mean whoever said it is safe.

Twitter | @MorganPnkPrint

I guess if anybody's gonna start trouble with her, the best move is to delete any photos of themselves making a weird face. She'll find them.

Nicki does not appreciate people cherry-picking photos she doesn't like and she apparently does serious research when it happens.

Twitter | @FishburnLayton

Hmm, I feel like we just discussed the issue of finding weird pics of somebody you don't like. I forget, what was Nicki's policy on that when somebody disses her?

This is the danger of trying to roast a rapper. Part of their job is to destroy opponents as systematically as possible.

Twitter | @FishburnLayton

I'm not sure we'll ever truly understand how a comment about her hair led to such a thorough dismantling of somebody's whole life, but it happened.

Oh wow, it looks like we're at the point where Nicki's haters will have to form a line.

Instagram | @nickiminaj, Twitter

Don't worry, folks. Everybody will get the problems they apparently want. They'll just have to be patient because the queen is busy.

I've seen people get mad at celebrities for weird stuff, but accusing someone of having a fake pet turtle is a first for me.

Twitter | @MorganPnkPrint

Besides, it's not like the turtle's not being taken care of. I'm pretty sure Nicki's mom knows its name, as if that matters. The turtle doesn't even know its name.

This person who's talking all tough at Nicki is the same one from before who was mad about the turtle.

Twitter | @MorganPnkPrint

So to recap, this person is saying that they'll take it to the streets...over whether or not Nicki Minaj knows her pet turtle's name.

She's right, they do need to do better.

It's bad enough when people start celebrity death rumors, but now we're starting them about their randomly selected family members?

Twitter | @MorganPnkPrint

It's not often that it seems appropriate for an Instagram comment to issue a retraction, but it kind of makes sense here.

"Update: Nicki Minaj's dad isn't dead. I don't know why I thought that."

I don't know what about these hair comments makes Nicki get so personal, but here she goes again.

Twitter | @FishburnLayton

I'm not sure how her hair is paying this person's rent exactly, but the rest of this is about as savage as we should expect by now.

Finally, we can't forget the time where she put Miley Cyrus on blast in front of everyone.

As Nicki told the New York Times, Miley had blamed Nicki for that misunderstanding between her and Taylor Swift and Nicki felt that Miley wasn't addressing the real issue behind her tweets about "Anaconda"'s nomination snub.

Yeah, that "what's good" had a lot of subtext.
